Assembly hints. These are a few things I did when I built the cars for photos.  Be careful - we made the parts small and thin to get as close to prototype as possible.
1 Cut handrails one at a time with a very, very sharp knife.  I placed the handrails on the edge of the box with the mounting pins up.  This made the cut a straight down motion.
2 Put on handrails first.  If you prefer to use glue - please try to use the glue on the inside only.
3 Put in weight and window glass next.  Spread body with your fingers to get the glass to pass the side windows.
4 Assemble the roof starting with the grabs.  I opened the holes for the roof walks with a sharp knife.  They are a very close fit.  I glued the the underside mounting pins very lightly.  Then I cut off the posts
5 To mount the KS couple use the sleeve molded on the X2f coupler sprue..
6 To make good track operation I cut all the wires short of the trucks.  They will not interfere with truck swing

I hope you will have as much fun with this great new model as I have.

    Sincerely,
    Lee English
